Dear Delegates, Dear Exporters,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Annual Conference of the Panhellenic Exporters Association, which takes place in cooperation with President Mr.Markos Drakotos and the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce of New York, under unexpectedly unprecedented conditions, under the influence of the pandemic and in a rapidly changing international environment. The coronavirus forced us to reconsider our strategy. However, we believe that the digital environment will be conducive to productive ideas and challenges and will create new opportunities for our exports and investments that will contribute positively to the development of our economy.
After all, as John Kennedy often said, “The Crisis in Chinese is written in 2 letters, one means Danger and the other Opportunity.“ We choose the second. I wish good luck to all of us.
Do not forget that the motto of the PSE is:
With Exporters for Exports from 1945 to 2020 (75 Years)

I would like to start off by thanking Ms. Christina Sakellaridis and the Panhellenic Exporters Association for inviting us to join with them in putting together this joint Forum celebrating Panhellenic Exporters Association’s 75th anniversary. The Panhellenic Exporters Association showed its strength and ability to reinvent itself for the better during these difficult times. Together we say “OHI” to a misunderstood disease, to a lack of belief in Greek resiliency, to those who are mistaken as to what Greece and its people are able to produce, accomplish and overcome. Events as this Forum, spanning from one continent to another, create one voice with a never-ending echo chanting our potential. We are looking forward to our continued cooperation with the Panhellenic Exporters Association and also with forging an ever-blossoming alliance with the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
